What is Coding?Coding is the another word for "software programming".
Coding is where people tell computers what to do. When coding, we write instructions in a language the computer will understand. Unfortunately, computers don't understand English, so we have to use a programming language. For coding, there are lots of programming languages. We have chosen Scratch because it is drag-and-drop and works right away!

In this activity, we will be coding with "Scratch 2.0".
You can use Scratch online, but we recommend you use an installed version (because it works faster). Scratch is free! Download & instructions are here. |
